Product Development Coordinator - Retail (Onsite - San Francisco, CA)
We are seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support product development execution and serve as an interface with Design teams for our global retail client. The role focuses on cost management, sampling/prototype coordination, vendor communication, managing development processes/systems, and ensuring timely execution of development milestones.
This is a 40-hour per week, 6-month contract, an onsite role in San Francisco, CA.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
Support product development execution and serve as an interface with Design teams.
Enter, compile, and analyze costs for all styles and highlight discrepancies.
Support sampling and prototype processes and protocols by tracking concept samples and working with mills and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of samples.
Initiate Time & Action (T&A) calendars for all key programs.
Regularly communicate with vendors and support functions to ensure calendar deadlines are met and data accuracy is maintained.
Manage related product development processes and systems as appropriate.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Design, Pre-Production, and Production teams.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in product development, sourcing, or production coordination.
Strong understanding of costing processes, cost analysis, and identifying cost discrepancies.
Experience supporting sampling/prototype processes, including tracking concept samples and coordinating with vendors/mills.
Knowledge of Time & Action (T&A) calendars, development timelines, and milestone tracking.
Experience managing product development processes and systems.
Strong vendor communication, organizational skills, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
