About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and collaborative Technical Designer II to support product development and fit execution for Women s World Cup Energy Technical Design initiatives. This role will work closely with Design, Product Management, Materials, Manufacturing, and Product Creation Center (PCC) teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality apparel products aligned with fit, performance, sustainability, and profitability goals.
This is a confidential, fast-paced project support role requiring strong professional maturity, adaptability, and technical apparel expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support fit and garment construction from concept through commercialization
  • Coordinate and participate in fit sessions, including taking detailed notes and updating technical sketches
  • Assist in creating and maintaining tech packs for Asia PCC teams
  • Track prototype development and facilitate sample management for assigned styles
  • Interpret design intent and communicate fit/construction feedback clearly
  • Identify and communicate basic fit issues and garment construction improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product Management, Materials, Manufacturing, and PCC teams
  • Maintain accuracy in product specifications, construction standards, and development timelines
  • Stay informed on market trends, consumer needs, and new apparel technologies

Must-Have Skills
  • Strong understanding of garment construction
  • Experience updating sketches and documenting fit session notes
  • Ability to understand and execute design intent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Required Experience
  • 2+ years of Technical Design experience within the apparel industry
  • Experience with apparel development from concept through production
  • Knowledge of:
    • Pattern making
    • Grading
    • Garment construction
    • Materials and manufacturing processes
    • Quality standards
Technical Skills
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • MS Office Suite
  • CAD Pattern Design software
  • Familiarity with:
    • Optitex
    • CLO / Browzwear
    • PCX
    • CAD systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Apparel Design, Textile Science, or related field
  • CLO 3D certification
  • Experience writing product specifications and construction standards
  • Understanding of graded nests/markers
