Our client, based in Essex County, NJ is seeking a Junior Product Engineer to support new product development, process improvement, and manufacturing optimization. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to bring products from concept to commercialization.
Responsibilities- Support new product development projects.
- Plan and execute product trials and process improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate raw materials and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct product testing and analyze results.
- Collaborate with Sales, Quality, Operations, and EHS teams.
- Document testing, trials, and project outcomes.
- Assist with product launches and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical, Materials, or Manufacturing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Internship, co-op, or related engineering experience.
- Mechanical testing, manufacturing, or materials science experience is a plus.
