This position is responsible for completion of product development deliverables for client companies and internal projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Contributes to concept generation and concept development activitiesCompletes detailed CAD designs and specification drawings for product development projectsCompletes Engineering Analysis and FEACompletes statistical Tolerance AnalysisCompletes Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and supports other Risk Management activitiesCompletes Critical Parameter Management AnalysisConducts engineering and verification/validation testing activitiesCompletes documentation in support of project tasks and deliverablesCoordinates with outside suppliers to ensure delivery of supplies or servicesActively participates in collaborative project team activities (meetings, reviews, presentations)Supports Design ReviewsRequired Education, Experience, Skills and Knowledge:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical Field; Master's Degree preferredProficiency in SolidWorks0 – 2 years of experience in a Technical Role; Medical Device experience preferredFamiliarity with FDA QSR and ISO 13485 medical device regulationsCustomer focus with excellent communications skills, written and oralDemonstrates professional novice to intermediate level proficiency in the following areas for Product Development Staff:Creativity and innovation for product development solutionsDescriptive sketchingAnalytical skillProblem solving aptitudeSolidworks part, assembly, and configuration skillsSolidworks drawing skillManufacturing process knowledgeMaterials knowledgeSalary Range:$72,000 to $85,000 (25th percentile/75th percentile, PayScale data); Bonus eligible depending on achieving company performance targets, 5% basisThis position will be eligible to enroll in benefits including health, dental and vision programs as well as AD&D and Long-Term Disability Insurance, 401(k).
