    Description

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Operate injection molding machines, including machine startup and shutdown.
    • Load molding programs and make minor process adjustments to improve part quality.
    • Monitor molded part quality and identify defects.
    • Perform trimming, sanding, deburring, assembly, polishing, and finishing of prototype parts.
    • Operate and troubleshoot 3D printing equipment and print builds.
    • Perform post-processing activities for 3D printed components.
    • Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins for dimensional verification.
    • Handle molding materials, dryers, moisture analyzers, and related lab equipment.
    • Support mold changeovers and machine setup activities.
    • Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and preventive maintenance schedules.
    • Package, label, and ship prototype parts to customers.
    • Follow laboratory procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
    • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support prototype development projects.
    Experience Required
    • 1-5 years of experience in injection molding, plastics, machine operation, or 3D printing preferred.
    • Experience in prototype manufacturing or lab environments preferred.
    • Familiarity with hands-on troubleshooting and machine operation.
    • Experience with CAD software and Microsoft Office programs preferred.
    • Exposure to 3D printing technologies such as SLA, DLP, PolyJet, or FFF is a plus.
