Basic Job Functions: Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking qualified applications for the posting of Product Development Metallurgist. Principal duties include, but are not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent technical/engineering related steel production experience • 5 years of related engineering experience in steel, coil, and/or pipe
Preferred Qualifications: • Proven track record of problem solving and process improvement • Experience with TMR, AcC, and DQAcC practices and/or cross rolling. • Experience with API pipe grades and/or EN specifications • Experience with API plate/coil/pipe production
