Collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment. Lead product development projects from product prototyping, development, deployment, product release, and initial field support.

Independently design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems. Present analysis and support technical recommendations clearly and concisely. Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide the specification and development of products.

Provide technical support for installation, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues. Maintain a high degree of customer engagement, including face-to-face and international travel to customer sites, supporting near-term product releases and solving customer issues.

Work in a cleanroom lab and/or customer semiconductor fab environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Material Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 12 years of experience or a PhD with 5 years experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Additive Manufacturing of ferrous and Nickel-based alloys.
  • Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.
  • Creative thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Exceptional clear communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in leading Cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.
  • Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial.
  • Manufacturing Engineering and 3D modeling of Additive Manufactured parts.
  • Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware tools and equipment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Publishing of manufacturing documentation and specification development.
  • Working to ASME, AMS, ASME, IMS, MIL standards.
  • Six-sigma green or black belt.
