    Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys taking products from concept through launch? Allied Moulded Products is looking for a Product Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bryan, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who values safety, thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment, and enjoys leading product and tooling projects that support quality, innovation, performance, and continuous improvement.

    As a Product Engineer, you will organize and lead assigned product and tooling design activities, coordinate project resources, communicate regularly with stakeholders, and help ensure projects meet established goals for schedule, cost, quality, and manufacturability.

    What You’ll Do:

    \n
    • \n
    • Lead assigned product and tooling projects with minimal supervision.
    • \n
    • Coordinate resources, deliverables, schedules, and cost objectives.
    • \n
    • Support sustaining engineering efforts to improve product design, manufacturability, performance, and cost.
    • \n
    • Use CAD software to develop solid models, detailed drawings, and product designs.
    • \n
    • Conduct or support design reviews, mold flow analysis, FEA simulations, functional testing, and DFMEA activities as needed.
    • \n
    • Partner with tool engineers, tool makers, business units, support services, and plant teams to meet product specifications and manufacturing needs.
    • \n
    • Maintain accurate project, product, tooling, BOM, and ERP system information.
    • \n
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and report regularly on assigned project

    What We’re Looking For:

    \n
    • \n
    • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related program preferred.
    • \n
    • Four years of related experience is preferred.
    • \n
    • Previous product design or tool design experience.
    • \n
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant engineering software.
    • \n
    • Strong understanding of engineering principles and design fundamentals.
    • \n
    • Experience or familiarity with injection and compression molding environments.
    • \n
    • Strong communication, planning, organization, attention to detail, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
    • \n
    • Ability to work well with others in a team-focused environment.
