Job Description
The Product Engineer designs, develops, and supports low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems, focusing on reliable integration of electrical and control components. This role creates detailed electrical documentation, programs and troubleshoots controller systems, and ensures products comply with relevant industry codes and standards. The Product Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable, and high-performance solutions for power generation, industrial electrical, and control system applications.

Work Environment
The Product Engineer works in a technical, engineering-focused environment that combines office-based design work with occasional interaction on the production floor and in test or certification settings. The role involves frequent use of CAD tools such as AutoCAD for developing schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams, as well as programming and testing PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. The engineer collaborates regularly with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Service teams to support product development and custom configurations. Work may involve reviewing equipment in industrial or power generation settings and participating in certification testing and customer inspections. Standard business hours typically apply, with additional time as needed to meet project deadlines or support testing and inspections. Attire is generally professional in the office and may require appropriate safety gear when visiting production or test areas.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
