  Position Description:
Lead Design Verification Planning (DVP) and Product Validation (PV) activities for automotive electrical systems, with a primary focus on high-voltage wiring harnesses. Responsible for validation planning, cross-functional coordination, supplier collaboration, testing, quality support, and execution through vehicle launch in accordance with Client GPDS and program milestones. This is a Validation Leadership role, not a traditional Design & Release engineering position. Key Responsibilities " Lead Design Verification Plans (DVPs) and Product Validation (PV) activities. " Develop validation strategies, test plans, and prototype requirements. " Coordinate validation with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing, and testing teams. " Track validation progress, engineering changes, and program milestones. " Support vehicle launches, quality improvements, and warranty investigations. " Lead Technical Design Reviews (TDRs) and maintain validation documentation. " Support DFMEA, PPAP, APQP, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

Experience Required:
" Bachelor's degree in Engineering. " 5 10 years of automotive engineering experience. " 5 10 years of wiring harness or automotive electrical systems experience. " Experience leading Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV). " Experience creating and managing Design Verification Plans (DVPs). " Client GPDS and vehicle launch experience. " PPAP and automotive product development experience. " Experience using TeamCenter and/or CATIA.
Experience Preferred:
" High-voltage wiring harnesses. " Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS). " Manufacturing or validation engineering. " Bench, dyno, or vehicle testing. " Cost estimation. " Microsoft Office.
Education Required:
" Bachelor's Degree in Engineering o Electrical Engineering preferred o Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering acceptable
Education Preferred:
" Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.

" Candidates from other automotive systems may be considered if they have significant DV/PV leadership experience. Must-Have Qualifications " 5 10 years of automotive wiring harness or electrical systems experience. " Ownership of Design Verification Plans (DVPs). " Leadership of Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV). " Client GPDS knowledge. " Vehicle launch experience. " TeamCenter and/or CATIA experience. " PPAP knowledge. " Ability to lead cross-functional validation efforts with engineering, suppliers, quality, and manufacturing.
