Description

About the Role:
As an Engineer Product within the manufacturing industry, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing products that meet both customer needs and industry standards. Your work will directly influence the efficiency, quality, and innovation of manufacturing processes and final products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure seamless product lifecycle management. This role demands a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement to drive product excellence and operational efficiency. Ultimately, your contributions will help the company maintain a competitive edge by delivering reliable, cost-effective, and innovative manufacturing solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product engineering or manufacturing engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of product design principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of materials science and product testing techniques.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
  • Professional engineering certification (e.g., PE license) or relevant industry certifications.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new products or improve existing products to meet customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product specifications into detailed engineering plans and documentation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, prototype testing, and validation to ensure product performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Support production teams by troubleshooting product-related issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept through production, including design changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout product development.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate product development activities.
