We are seeking a highly motivated Motors, Controls & Instrumentation (MC&I) Product Engineer to support the development, evaluation, testing, and integration of electric motors, VFDs, controls, instrumentation, and connectivity solutions for industrial pumping systems.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across electrical, mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and product development disciplines while solving complex real-world industrial challenges.

If you have experience with motor systems, VFDs, industrial controls, instrumentation, and system integration - and want to work in a collaborative manufacturing environment where your work directly impacts product performance and innovation - we want to hear from you.

    What You'll Do

    Product Engineering & Development

    • Evaluate and support the development of electric motors, VFDs, and motor control systems for new and existing pumping products
    • Support motor sizing, inverter matching, control loop tuning, and system optimization
    • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams to define technical requirements

    Controls & Systems Integration

    • Configure and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols
    • Support integration of Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, CAN/CANopen, and related communication systems
    • Assist with instrumentation specification, I/O validation, and controls integration

    Connectivity & Remote Monitoring

    • Support telemetry and remote monitoring technologies including Wi-Fi, cellular, and LoRa/LPWAN communications
    • Assist with networking and connectivity troubleshooting for smart pumping systems

    Testing & Validation

    • Develop and execute product validation and reliability testing
    • Support test lab capability development and motor/VFD evaluation processes
    • Perform failure analysis, FMEA/DFMEA activities, and root cause investigations

    Manufacturing & Customer Support

    • Support pilot builds, manufacturing launch activities, and product release efforts
    • Provide technical troubleshooting support for motors, VFDs, instrumentation, and control systems
    • Coordinate with suppliers and support compliance efforts related to UL, CSA, and CE requirements

    What We're Looking For
