Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Oklahoma City. This direct-hire position is responsible for designing, developing, and improving industrial valve products while supporting manufacturing, quality, sales, and customer service teams with technical expertise and engineering documentation.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical engineering background, experience in the industrial valve or oil & gas industry, and a passion for product development and continuous improvement.
Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
2 4 years of engineering experience in the oil & gas, refinery, or industrial valve industry
Experience with safety relief valves, control valves, regulators, chokes, rupture disks, or similar products required
Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ERP/MRP systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Must reside in the Oklahoma City area (not a remote position)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and improve industrial valve products and mechanical systems
Provide technical support to customers, sales teams, and customer service representatives
Size valves and prepare technical data sheets based on customer specifications
Create and maintain engineering drawings, bills of materials, and engineering change notices
Support manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams with product documentation and specifications
Develop production build procedures and testing documentation
Maintain engineering records, part numbering, and documentation within the ERP system
Assist with troubleshooting, product improvements, and engineering projects
Train employees on assigned product lines as needed
Ensure products comply with applicable industry codes and standards
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI/ISA, ISO, and NACE industry standards
Experience with metallurgy and/or welding
Previous experience supporting manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
Occasional walking throughout manufacturing and production areas
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
Ability to safely work in both office and industrial environments while wearing required PPE when necessary
Work Environment
Professional engineering office with regular interaction on the manufacturing floor
