Objective:
The Warehouse Re-work Product Handler's primary function is to re-work all returned product and sort into saleable and non-saleable cases.
Accountabilities:
- Re-work all saleable product returned from out in the market that has at least 14 days shelf life by putting in appropriate containers and returning to correct pallets.
- Maintain proper rotation of dates in the re-work area.
- If non-saleable product is found in the warehouse due to leakers or damage, it is sorted and reworked or disposed of appropriately.
- In the future, all re-worked product will be logged and turned in for proper inventory adjustments.
- General housekeeping of warehouse in downtime (floors, walls, cobwebs, etc.).
- Reject wall - maintain good dates.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
- Passionate self-starter who can work independently as well as be a team player that works well with others, motivated to learn and communicates well.
- Ability to do simple math calculations without the use of a calculator.
- Ability to operate pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner.
- Able to work from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
