Job Title: Product/Hardware Verification Engineer
Location: North Reading, MA (4 days onsite)
Duration: 12 months contract
Payrate: $50 to $65 per hour.


Job Description:
Our Product Integration and Verification group is seeking an energetic and initiative-taking Hardware Verification Engineer with a background in test development, and/or product verification. In this role you will be responsible for developing test concepts, custom test hardware, and product test software to verify both the functionality and performance of our new innovative products. As a member of the product development team, you will integrate across all development functions (HW, SW, Firmware etc.) to successfully bring our new products to market.

Responsibilities
  • Development of automated concepts that support the measurement accuracies needed to verify the functionality and performance of our new instrumentation products.
  • Development of custom PCBAs and/or other test hardware as needed to support product verification.
  • Development, debug, and release of product verification test software to the product team and to the factory for production use.
  • Integrate and collaborate with the entire product team to debug and resolve product integration and performance issues.

Must Have:
  • BSEE/MSEE and 3+ years of relevant experience as a product test or hardware verification engineer.
  • Background in object-orientated programming; C, C++, C# preferred.
  • Experience in a lab setting, debugging hardware, software, and product integration issues. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to solve issues.
  • Experience with manufacturing release and support is a plus.
