Job Details

Our client, a well-regarded law firm, is seeking a Product Liability Associate with 4-10 years of defense litigation experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take ownership of cases while working collaboratively with a strong litigation team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and evaluate product liability claims
  • Conduct legal research regarding product liability law and federal regulations
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
  • Manage all phases of litigation, including depositions, hearings, mediation, arbitration,

and trial
  • Advise clients on risk management, compliance, recalls, and liability exposure
  • Prepare witnesses and clients for testimony
  • Maintain case files, billing records, and litigation deadlines
  • Participate in Business Development activities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • 4–10 years of litigation experience preferred
  • Experience with product liability, mass torts, personal injury, or complex civil
  • Experience with active participation in depositions, oral arguments, and courtroom

experiences
  • Excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, writing, and analytical

skills
  • Knowledge of county, state, and federal courts and related rules of civil procedures
  • Strong attention to detail in all work, along with the ability to manage multiple files and

to prioritize workloads to effectively meet all deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally

with all levels of management, staff, and clients
  • Forward thinking, organized, and a team player
  • Ability to independently solve problems and exercise sound judgment with minimal

direction
