Product Management Team Leader

About the Role

Tintri is building a world-class Product Management organization from the ground up. We're looking for a Product Management Team Leader to define the PM function, hire and develop a team of product managers, and own the product strategy across all Tintri offerings. This leader will bridge customer insight, market data, and engineering capability into a coherent, prioritized, and executable roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor the Tintri Product Management team including Technical and Field-facing PMs
• Own the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap across TxOS, TGC, and Cloud Engine
• Establish PM processes, templates, and operating rhythms (PRDs, roadmaps, PLC gates, prioritization frameworks)
• Drive the transition from Productboard to Jira Advanced Roadmaps for roadmap management
• Partner with Engineering leadership on capacity planning, trade-offs, and technical feasibility
• Define and track product KPIs: adoption, feature utilization, customer satisfaction, NPS
• Lead quarterly business reviews and executive roadmap presentations
• Own competitive analysis and market positioning for all Tintri products
• Ensure PM team produces high-quality, engineering-ready requirements on time

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, 3+ years leading PM teams
• Deep domain knowledge in enterprise storage, virtualization, or cloud infrastructure
• Proven ability to define and ship complex enterprise software and/or hardware products
• Experience building a PM function or team from early stage
• Strong technical background - can read an architecture doc and have an informed opinion
• Expertise in roadmap tools and prioritization frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW)
• Excellent executive communication skills - written and verbal
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for roadmap and requirements management
• Track record of working closely with field teams and translating customer pain into roadmap
• MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
