Product Manager - AI

Duties: The AI Product Manager ("PM") is an integral member of Axiom's Marketing-Product ("Marketing"). The PM will play a key role in AI-Powered product development and product management. The PM will design, build, and launch digital training products and agent-led simulations using AI tools independently, without a dedicated engineering team. The PM will be accountable for instructional and learning design and will collaborate with clinical subject matter experts (SMEs), nurse educators, and operations leads to understand training needs and translate them into effective digital learning experiences. This role will apply instructional design principles to structure content for maximum retention and practical application. Additionally, the PM will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Director of Product and AI Innovation.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions of the PM are to:

• Defines and launches the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of AI-enabled products that create measurable customer and business value.
• Applies product discovery, experimentation, and data-driven decision making to translate market opportunities and stakeholder needs into prioritized problem statements, outcomes, and iterative releases.
• Validate solutions / reduce risk through rapid experiments, and scale successful patterns across channels and customer segments.
• Establishes success metrics and observability for model and product performance, aligns AI investments to revenue growth, cost reduction, and user experience improvements.
• Confirms solutions comply with security, privacy, and responsible-AI standards and integrate reliably with platform and data infrastructure.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to align training priorities with business goals.

Qualifications: The successful candidate should have a combination of demonstrated experience and education that is equivalent to 5 years with a focus on Product Manager, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or related role within a technology or software environment.

Required

• Demonstrated, hands-on experience building with AI tools - specifically large language models (LLMs) such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar - to create functional products, workflows, or content at work or in personal projects.
• Comfort working in a no-code / low-code environment to build digital products without engineering support.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, structured, and engaging content.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and define structure in a first-of-kind role with limited precedent internally.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with clinical SMEs, non-technical stakeholders, and leadership.

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, and/or Claude Agents (Anthropic's AI suite) for building apps, automations, or interactive tools - strongly preferred.
• Experience building training simulations, branching scenarios, or interactive e-learning content using AI or no-code tools.
• Background in healthcare, clinical operations, or nursing education - or a strong ability to quickly ramp up on clinical workflows a plus but not required.
• Experience using tools such as Articulate Rise, Synthesia, Notion AI, Gamma, or similar AI-native content platforms.
• Exposure to prompt engineering, AI agent configuration, or workflow automation (e.g., Make, Zapier, or similar).

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach,
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work,
• Light to moderate lifting is required,
• Ability to uphold the stress of traveling,
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.

Additional Information:

Must be willing to travel up to 5%.
