Overview

Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. (ADTI) is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Product Manager – Architectural Solutions to build and lead our Architectural product portfolio. This role presents a unique opportunity to create a product strategy and roadmap from the ground up, establishing ADTI as a market leader in architectural louvers, vision screens, sunshades, grilles, perforated metal systems, and other building envelope solutions.

The Product Manager will serve as the business leader and subject matter expert for the Architectural product line, driving profitable growth through market development, new product introduction, portfolio expansion, pricing strategy, and customer engagement. This individual will work closely with architects, specifiers, facade consultants, contractors, engineering teams, manufacturing operations, and sales leaders to develop innovative solutions that balance aesthetics, performance, constructability, and profitability.

This position requires a highly collaborative leader capable of identifying market opportunities, developing a long-term growth strategy, and building a sustainable portfolio within the architectural construction market.

What You Will Do

As the Product Manager for Architectural Solutions, you will:

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for ADTI's Architectural product portfolio.
• Build a product roadmap and portfolio strategy from the ground up, identifying opportunities for organic growth, product expansion, and market penetration.
• Conduct market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet customer needs, and whitespace opportunities.
• Partner with architects, specifiers, engineers, facade consultants, and contractors to understand project requirements and influence product specifications.
• Drive new product development initiatives from concept through commercialization.
• Establish pricing strategies, value propositions, and go-to-market plans that support revenue and margin objectives.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including product introductions, enhancements, rationalization, and sunset decisions.
• Develop business cases and financial models to support investment decisions and product launches.
• Analyze market share, sales performance, profitability, and customer feedback to guide portfolio optimization.
• Lead specification-driven growth initiatives and increase inclusion of ADTI Architectural products in project specifications.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop product positioning, promotional materials, training programs, and thought leadership content.
• Evaluate acquisition, partnership, and adjacent-market opportunities that support long-term growth objectives.

How You Will Do It

• Develop a deep understanding of architectural building products, design trends, code requirements, and customer applications.
• Create alignment and buy-in across executive leadership, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable product requirements and development plans.
• Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, revenue potential, margin impact, and strategic importance.
• Partner closely with Engineering and Product Development teams to accelerate innovation and shorten time-to-market.
• Work with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure product designs support efficient production and scalability.
• Drive successful product launches through coordinated execution across sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support functions.
• Monitor competitive developments, market trends, architectural design movements, and industry innovations.
• Serve as the voice of the customer while balancing business objectives and operational realities.
• Travel to customer sites, architectural firms, industry events, and trade shows to gather market intelligence and strengthen relationships.
• Act as the internal and external champion for the Architectural product portfolio.

Key Areas of Focus

Portfolio Creation & Growth

• Build and develop a comprehensive Architectural product portfolio from scratch.
• Evaluate existing market gaps and identify opportunities for new products and adjacent offerings.
• Establish portfolio segmentation, product positioning, and long-term growth strategies.
• Develop multi-year product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Architectural Market Development

• Increase specification activity among architects, consultants, and designers.
• Strengthen ADTI's presence within the commercial construction and building envelope markets.
• Support key project pursuits and strategic customer opportunities.
• Collaborate with specification teams to improve project visibility and specification conversion rates.

Product Innovation

• Drive innovation focused on aesthetics, sustainability, energy efficiency, airflow performance, and building integration.
• Evaluate emerging materials, design trends, manufacturing technologies, and customer requirements.
• Support product certifications, testing requirements, and performance validation.

What We Look For

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Product Management, Product Development, Business Development, or Market Management experience.
• Experience within architectural building products, commercial construction, building envelope systems, HVAC products, architectural metals, façade systems, daylighting, screening, sunshade systems, or related markets.
• Demonstrated success launching new products and driving profitable growth.
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Experience managing forecasting, pricing, margin analysis, and business case development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong customer-facing skills with experience interacting with architects, consultants, contractors, and distributors.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced business degree.
• Experience building or expanding a product portfolio in a specification-driven construction market.
• Knowledge of CSI specifications, architectural sales processes, and commercial building design practices.
• Experience working with architectural louvers, vision barriers, grilles, sunshades, screens, façade systems, or related building products.
• Familiarity with market intelligence tools, product management software, and Voice of Customer methodologies.
• Understanding of product costing, value engineering, and market-based pricing strategies.
• Experience leading new business creation, market entry, or portfolio expansion initiatives.
