Product Manager

The Product Manager owns the planning and execution of assigned product lines through the full product lifecycle. Responsible for leading projects through the Stage Gate process, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and ensuring alignment with RWC's strategic goals. The Product Manager partners cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance to achieve revenue, growth, and customer satisfaction objectives.

Principal Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product and category strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead all assigned projects through the Stage Gate process, from concept to commercialization.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Manage new product development (NPD), product changes, and discontinuations.
• Define and maintain product data within SAP.
• Provide direction and insight for marketing collateral, pricing, and launch materials.
• Act as the cross-functional leader for assigned projects, ensuring milestone completion and quality.
• Support field visits and customer interactions to gather Voice of Customer (VOC).

Required Qualifications

Education :

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience; MBA is preferred.

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in a product manager role in a fast paced and high-SKU environment.
• Experience in the Plumbing, construction materials, and Building Industry are preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, especially an in-depth knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• An understanding of SAP, Sales Reporting (Tableau, Phocas), Stage Gate Process, Project Management

Essential Functions

• 10% Travel (end user and customer visits, industry events and tradeshows, visiting other RWC facilities, etc.).
• Need to safely perform all duties.

Working Conditions

This position will be an in-office environment with some travel required.

Job requires both sitting and standing. Excellent vision, hearing, speech, and motor skills are required to perform essential functions of the job.
