    Description

    We are looking for a Product Manager for our client in Houston, TX.  The Product Manager is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and executing the product strategy and roadmap for the company's software solutions. Serving as the liaison between customers, sales, marketing, engineering, and executive leadership, this role ensures products align with market demands, solve customer challenges, and support business growth.
     
    Responsibilities

    • Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap aligned with business objectives.
    • Define product positioning, competitive differentiation, and value propositions.
    • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to identify growth opportunities.
    • Recommend strategic product investments and roadmap enhancements.
    • Conduct regular customer and prospect interviews to gather Voice of Customer (VoC) insights.
    • Analyze customer needs, market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry opportunities.
    • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to identify unmet customer requirements.
    • Translate customer feedback into clear product requirements and enhancement opportunities.
    • Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications.
    • Prioritize product enhancements based on customer impact, business value, development effort, and strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate closely with Engineering and UX teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
    • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and release planning.
    • Make informed trade-off decisions regarding scope, schedule, and resource allocation to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
    • Partner with Marketing to develop product messaging, positioning, and launch strategies.
    • Support Sales through product demonstrations, competitive analysis, training, and customer presentations.
    • Develop product documentation and internal enablement materials.
    • Participate in strategic customer meetings and support key business opportunities.
    • Establish and monitor product performance metrics, including adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
    • Analyze product performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Present product performance, market insights, and roadmap recommendations to executive leadership.
    • Manage products throughout their lifecycle, including enhancements and long-term strategy.
    • Conduct a minimum of 4–6 customer or prospect interviews each month.
    • Maintain an ongoing understanding of customer needs, industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
    • Present quarterly market findings and recommend validated roadmap adjustments based on customer and market feedback.
     
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Business Analysis, or a related role.
    • Experience within SaaS, Industrial Software, SCADA, IIoT, Cybersecurity, ERP, CRM, or other B2B software environments.
    • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
    • Experience conducting customer interviews, market research, and competitive analysis.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and s teams.
    • Experience using product analytics and product management tools.
    • Familiarity with API-based products and software integrations.
    • Technical background with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
