    Description

    About the Role

We're a Series C fintech company building modern banking infrastructure purpose-built for small and independent businesses. Our platform gives hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs the tools they need to manage cash flow, move money, and run their finances — all in one place.

We're hiring a Product Manager, Banking to own and scale our core banking experience: the accounts, money movement, cards, and program infrastructure that underpin everything we do. This is a high-impact, senior IC role at the heart of our product — you'll set strategy, drive the roadmap, and ship reliable, secure financial products in a regulated environment, working hand-in-hand with Engineering, Design, Risk, Compliance, and external banking partners.

    What You'll Do

    • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core banking products — including deposit accounts, money movement, cards, and the underlying program infrastructure

    • Lead the end-to-end experience for account opening, funding, deposits, and money-movement flows (ACH, wires, transfers, bill pay, and card transactions)

    • Partner closely with Engineering on the ledger, payments rails, and card systems that power those flows

    • Run a rigorous, cohort-based discovery process grounded in customer research and usage data to surface the highest-impact opportunities

    • Write clear, detailed product specs; define success metrics; and ship reliable, secure features on a predictable cadence with Engineering and Design

    • Embed risk, fraud, security, and regulatory requirements into the product process from day one — partnering with Risk, Compliance, and Legal at every stage

    • Manage product relationships and integrations with banking partners and key third-party vendors

    • Define and track product metrics across activation, engagement, retention, multi-product adoption, and reliability

    What We're Looking For

    Required

    • 7+ years of progressive product management experience owning complex, technical, or platform products — specifically in fintech, financial services, banking, or payments

    • Demonstrable track record of shipping customer-facing products in a high-growth, regulated environment involving money movement, payments, cards, deposits, or other financial infrastructure

    • Hands-on experience with end-to-end banking product areas: deposits, money movement rails (ACH, wires, transfers, bill pay), onboarding/account opening flows, and card programs

    • Strong understanding of banking and fintech fundamentals, including security, fraud prevention, and regulatory considerations

    • Proven ability to write clear product specs and partner effectively with Engineering and Design to ship features

    • Strong analytical skills with fluency in product and cohort data; ability to define and track meaningful success metrics

    • Experience partnering with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ship within regulatory constraints

    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States — visa sponsorship is not available for this role

    Nice to Have

    • Experience managing product relationships and integrations with banking partners and third-party vendors

    • Familiarity with ledger systems and core banking infrastructure

    • Background in small business or SMB-focused financial products

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 annually

    • Competitive equity and benefits package

    Location

This role is based in New York City on a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates must be able to work regularly from our NYC office.
