We are seeking a Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of claims-related integrations and automation capabilities across our incident and claims ecosystem. This role will focus on reducing operational friction, improving data quality, and accelerating claims handling through scalable workflows connecting internal systems, third-party administrators (TPAs), insurers, and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work backwards from customer and operational pain points to identify opportunities for automation, streamline cross-functional processes, and improve end-to-end claims outcomes. This role requires strong product judgment, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex business workflows into scalable product solutions.
Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
You start the morning reviewing claims routing metrics, spotting a spike in manual assignments for a specific TPA. You pull the data, identify a missing integration rule, and draft a requirement to fix it. Mid-morning, you join a sync with a TPA partner to align on data exchange specs for a new litigation workflow. After lunch, you review a BRD with engineering, negotiate scope trade-offs, and update your roadmap priorities. You close the day by prepping a business case showing how last quarter"s automation work reduced cycle times by 15%.
About the team
The On-Road Incident Management (ORIM) builds the systems that connect Amazon"s logistics incident management ecosystem to the partners who resolve claims on behalf of customers, drivers, and third parties. We sit at the intersection of insurance, operations, and technology, designing automated workflows that move claims data between internal platforms and external administrators. We prioritize simplicity, speed, and accuracy because every claim represents a real person waiting for resolution. You"ll work alongside product managers, program managers, and engineers who care deeply about reducing friction in complex, high-volume operational processes.
