Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.

• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).

• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.

• Experience building dashboards and reporting on organizational metrics.

• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Preferred qualifications:

• Masters degree in a technology or business related field.

• 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.

• 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.

• 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the worlds information. Were responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

We are seeking a forward-thinking product leader driven to revolutionize the understanding, measurement, and actionability of AI transformation metrics. In this role, you will partner closely with Data Science

(DS), User Experience Research (UXR), and engineering to develop a roadmap for our next-generation AI transformation metrics and surfaces. You will foster close collaboration with engineering and metrics teams across Google product areas to pioneer, co-develop, and pilot these meaures. You will leverage AI capabilities to rapidly prototype and develop ideas.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with internal customers to understand their most critical pain points, ensuring metrics and surfaces meet real needs and drive insights and action.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle from rapid prototyping and technical trade-offs to iterative, monthly launches, accelerating execution across engineering and DS/UXR boundaries.
• Translate the product goal into highly tactical, near-term milestone plans focused on continuous releases that prioritize speed-to-market and immediate user value.
• Drive a heavy focus on metric evaluation, including explainability, inspectability, and understandability.
• Partner closely with internal teams to expand metric development and adoption for key measures across Google.
