Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the modernization and migration of automotive Bill of Materials (BOM) processes onto the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform. This role will drive the transition from legacy PLM/BOM systems, define future-state BOM and configuration management capabilities, and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and Data Migration teams to deliver a scalable, 3DX-native solution. The ideal candidate brings strong product management experience, expertise in automotive BOM processes, and the ability to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for migrating legacy BOM and PLM systems into the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  • Develop co-existence and transition strategies to support ongoing vehicle programs while legacy and 3DX systems operate in parallel.
  • Establish criteria and plans for decommissioning legacy BOM applications.
  • Own the product vision for vehicle structures, options, variants, marketing rules, and BOM management within 3DX.
  • Design and support management of 150% Over-Complete BOMs and generation of 100% Configured BOMs for manufacturing and procurement.
  • Define integration standards between CAD, Engineering BOM (EBOM), Manufacturing BOM (MBOM), and ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
  • Drive standardization of engineering change management processes (ECR/ECO/ECN) and effectivity management across the platform.
  • Partner with Data Migration and IT teams to establish data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation strategies.
  • Develop and monitor data quality metrics to ensure accurate and complete BOM migrations.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs, epics, and user stories using Agile methodologies and Jira.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, IT, and PLM implementation teams.
  • Promote adoption of out-of-the-box 3DEXPERIENCE capabilities to reduce customization and improve long-term maintainability.
  • Lead organizational change and user adoption efforts, including training, user documentation, and hyper-care support.
  • Define end-to-end PLM architecture and BOM transformation strategies across EBOM, MBOM, and Service BOM (SBOM).
  • Architect product configuration and variant management solutions for complex automotive option structures.
  • Design ENOVIA data models, schema updates, and interface specifications.
  • Oversee integrations between 3DEXPERIENCE, ERP platforms, and legacy CAD environments, including CATIA.
  • Provide technical leadership, governance, and mentorship to development teams and system integrators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable product and technical solutions.
