Position Summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Senior Product Manager, Digital Solutions, Data Centers to support the growth and evolution of the Digital Solutions Division (DSD) portfolio. The Digital Solutions Division portfolio includes range of digital solutions focused on Grid Management, Grid Analytics, Data Centers, Transportation, Energy Management, Edge Intelligence & Control, AI etc.

This role will be responsible for multiple products, primarily focused on our Data Center solutions. The Product Manager will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, shaping product strategy, driving the development, Go-To-Market, and enhancement of digital products and services that align with customer and business needs. The Product Manager will partner cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership teams to support product development, market positioning, and customer engagement initiatives.

What You ll Do

  • Drive Product Strategy: Lead the identification, development, and evolution of DSD products and services while supporting the long-term product roadmap and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Understand Customer Needs: Engage with existing and prospective customers to understand current and future business challenges, translating insights into product improvements and new solution opportunities.
  • Lead Market Research & Analysis & develop business cases: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, voice of the customer activities, and industry trend analysis to support product planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Support R&D and Product Development: Research, analyze, and document product requirements to support product realization, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales Teams: Provide technical product support and subject matter expertise during customer engagements, presentations, and business development efforts.
  • Collaborate on Product Marketing: Work closely with Marketing to support the development and execution of product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Represent DSD Externally: Conduct customer webinars, presentations, and participate in industry meetings, conferences, and events to promote DSD solutions and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Stay Current on Industry Trends: Maintain knowledge of evolving digital technologies, customer expectations, and market trends impacting the power systems and digital solutions industry.
  • Promote Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong working relationships across internal teams while supporting the goals and professional image of the Digital Solutions Division.

What You ll Bring

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, product marketing, business development, or a related function.
  • Strong industry knowledge in Data Centers, Utilities, DERMS, Energy Management
  • Strong knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management
  • Strong ability to gather and translate customer and market insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting technical or digital product portfolios preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
