Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking a Product Manager to join our EnFin Business Architecture team to drive the evolution of our customer qualification and risk management experience. This role will own key product initiatives supporting the customer journey, including application risk assessment, compliance tooling, credit decisioning, customer onboarding infrastructure, and operational platforms.

The successful candidate will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, PMO, and Design to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance customer experience. This role requires a highly self-sufficient product professional who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can translate complex business needs into impactful product solutions.  The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with technical fluency, operational judgment, and experience working within highly regulated or operationally complex environments. Experience in FinTech, lending, risk management, or the renewable energy industry is highly desirable.

This position will be onsite in our San Francisco office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and manage product initiatives supporting the customer qualification and risk management journey.
  • Drive product execution across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, PMO, Design, and business stakeholders to define business needs and deliver scalable product solutions.
  • Translate operational, compliance, and customer requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized product backlogs.
  • Lead initiatives focused on application risk assessment, compliance controls, credit decisioning, customer onboarding infrastructure, and other operational platforms.
  • Build a system-level understanding across Salesforce, customer onboarding workflows, credit decisioning platforms, partner portals, APIs, integrations, and supporting business systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to evaluate technical tradeoffs, system integrations, and scalable solution designs.
  • Define, monitor, and report on product KPIs, customer success metrics, operational performance, and Risk-related business outcomes.
  • Identify customer journey bottlenecks and continuously improve workflows, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Communicate product roadmaps, project status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Prioritize competing initiatives while balancing customer needs, business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, AI-enabled product capabilities, and best practices in Product Management, FinTech, and renewable energy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Product Management or equivalent experience leading software products, operational platforms, or business process transformation initiatives.
  • Experience translating business, operational, and compliance requirements into product requirements and technical solutions.
  • Experience delivering products using Agile methodologies and working closely with Engineering throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, SaaS applications, data flows, and modern software architectures.
  • Experience working with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in FinTech, financial services, lending, credit decisioning, risk management, compliance, or regulated industries.
  • Experience building or supporting internal operational platforms, B2B software products, or customer onboarding solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce, CRM platforms, APIs, SQL, or enterprise system integrations.
  • Experience supporting renewable energy, solar, battery storage, or clean energy products.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled products, automation platforms, or workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Passion for technology, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Demonstrates curiosity, ownership, resilience, creativity, and a bias toward action while maintaining empathy for customers and cross-functional partners.
