Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in consumer product management.
  • Experience in a quality-focused domain (e.g., content recommendation systems).
  • Experience with experimentation and data analysis (e.g., A/B testing, user analysis, funnel analysis, market research, etc.) to define product direction.
  • Experience in AI/ML foundations and concepts, and AI-powered product development.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own the search experience including quality, infrastructure, and user experience for YouTube Music.
  • Define the idea and roadmap, collaborating with engineering, design, and data science teams to evolve the core search experience and build next-generation search capabilities.
  • Partner with other YouTube and Google teams on the music search journey including YouTube Main, YouTube Living Room, Gemini, Auto, etc.
