Product Manager - Lead

Title: Product Manager
Location: Richmond, VA, McLean, VA or Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Range: $60-70/hr on W2 without benefits

Introduction:
This role involves working with an enterprise risk platform team to revamp an internal-facing governance tool called Model One. The tool is used by data scientists, model developers, and model owners for internal workflows around model governance. The project involves understanding policy requirements, guiding best practices, and defining technical requirements to deliver a comprehensive product solution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
3-4 years of product management experience, from design to delivery.
End-to-end product management experience.
Experience with data or modeling.
Model risk management experience, including understanding the model lifecycle and how models are built.
Understanding user requirements and clearing backlogs.
Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.
JIRA proficiency.
Strong stakeholder management and soft skills.
AI or UI experience.
Background in financial risk or financial modeling.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Interact with stakeholders to understand their pain points and synthesize data to define product requirements.
Gather requirements and define the product roadmap, including detailed features stored in JIRA.
Collaborate with engineers to deliver product stories.
