Product Manager

Job title: Product Manager 
Duration: 8 months with possible extension 
Location: Mclean, VA- Hybrid 
Rate: $45-$50/hr on w2 - without benefits

Introduction

Join our dynamic team as an Analytics Integration Product Specialist in McLean, VA, where you will have the opportunity to lead complex analytics migration projects across multiple sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless transitions from legacy analytics platforms to modern solutions, making a significant impact on our analytics capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Hands-on experience migrating or re-platforming a web analytics implementation, including variable- and event-level mapping between two systems
• Demonstrated ability to build a migration roadmap and drive it through multiple stakeholder groups to alignment
• Comfortable reading and reconciling analytics data dictionaries against a target schema
• Experience validating analytics data during a live cutover
• Able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with independent deadlines
• Clear, proactive written communication skills
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Familiarity with enterprise tag-management platforms
• Experience migrating off a legacy vendor analytics platform onto a modern or in-house analytics platform
• Experience with analytics data flowing into a cloud data warehouse for downstream reporting

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Build and maintain the analytics migration roadmap across all in-scope sites
• Get stakeholder buy-in from product and engineering leads on each site for the migration plan and timing
• Own the variable-level mapping between the old and new analytics implementations
• Validate reporting parity before and after each cutover
• Direct build work across supporting engineers and partner with internal engineering teams
• Track compliance decision gating and be ready to scope and re-plan analytics work on short notice
• Drive the fixed legacy-platform deadlines to completion
• Flag scheduling risk clearly and early
