• Pay Rate: $97.12 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM CST

Job Summary

The Sr. Product Manager partners with Customer Care stakeholders and Epic delivery teams to translate business needs into effective, scalable solutions within the Epic EMR. This position leads business requirement gathering, analyzes the problem space to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ultimately verifies that the work generated by the development teams meets the stakeholders' requirements. This role owns the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for a defined set of Epic-based capabilities, guiding initiatives from intake and prioritization through implementation and delivery.

Serving as a key bridge between business partners and technical teams, the Sr. Product Manager brings strong Epic and Agile expertise to assess requests, shape solutions, and drive execution. The ideal candidate is a strong stakeholder partner, process oriented, and comfortable balancing strategic problem solving with hands-on product delivery in a complex, cross-functional environment. Experience with Epic modules Cheers, CRM, and/or MyChart is highly preferred.

The Epic Product Management team translates the needs of the business to the EPIC Delivery team, which is the technical team responsible for execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business requirement gathering and analyze the problem space to define user stories and acceptance criteria
• Verify that work generated by development teams meets stakeholder requirements
• Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for a defined set of Epic-based capabilities
• Guide initiatives from intake and prioritization through implementation and delivery
• Serve as a key bridge between business partners and technical teams
• Assess requests, shape solutions, and drive execution in a complex, cross-functional environment

Required Skills

• EPIC experience specifically Cheers (the EPIC CRM) and/or MyChart modules
• Strong Epic and Agile expertise
• Strong stakeholder partnership skills
• Process-oriented mindset with ability to balance strategic problem solving and hands-on product delivery

Preferred Skills

• Product Management experience
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Confluence/Jira (a big plus)

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Epic certification required or recently expired certification acceptable (a certification expired many years ago is not acceptable); candidates with Epic experience are expected to hold or have held a certification

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Epic (Cheers/CRM and/or MyChart); candidates who have transitioned to an analyst role must still demonstrate this required experience

Important Notes

• Interview process: Video conference (Teams)
• Preference is to be onsite, but remote will be considered provided the candidate has Epic experience
• The biggest requirement for this role is experience with Epic, specifically the Cheers/CRM and/or MyChart modules
• Ideal candidate does not need a lot of hand-holding
