Description Can you simplify complex business and technical scenarios down to the essentials and create programmatic, repeatable mechanisms to help customers get the most from state-of-the-art innovation? As a Product Manager - AWS database services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on overall strategy. You will work on substantial problems that require intelligence gathering through both internal and external resources, synthesize data to share succinct findings and perspectives with senior leaders across product, sales, business development, marketing to drive change. You will seek inspiration from customers and external market developments, driving internal business analysis to understand the root causes of business performance to generate actionable insights that inspire change/innovation. You are expected to use these insights to contribute or drive our strategy, customer experience improvements, and take ownership for an identified customer innovation/s we want to develop over time. The right candidate will possess proven product management experience in large, growing businesses. You are expected to be versatile and able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You are comfortable managing competing priorities and are able to bring order to ambiguous scenarios. Maturity, high judgment, ability to influence and leadership are essential to success in this role. You are data-driven and analytical. You can clearly & effectively communicate (written as well as verbally) across organizations and up to senior leadership. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities - Build, develop, and maintain highly collaborative and working relationships with multiple teams across the business to understand available data and identify growth opportunities for the business. - Lead monthly business reviews, gather critical business metrics data across the business and the company and build business cases for various opportunities. - Interpret results, conclude actionable recommendations and communicate them effectively to executive stakeholders. - Play a critical role in the broad business planning, working closely with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements. Help form long-term product and business strategy and goals. - Demonstrate high levels of creativity and right judgments, most of the time. - Understand business context to decisions made within and across groups. - Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends. - Contribute to Amazon's growth by working directly with our customers About the team Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
