About the role:

As a Logisnext Product MarketingManager, this role is responsible for driving the development and execution of product-specific marketing strategy, including positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and sales enablement efforts to support Logisnext's dealers, National Accounts, and end-user customers. This role is responsible for recommending/delivering: 1) market segmentation & voice of customer insight for the product development process, 2) creating compelling sales & marketing tools to increase market share. This department also serves as product subject matter experts for various groups and leads the New Product Introduction process for marketing. This includes working with a cross-functional team to develop compelling product and marketing content and tools to support customers across our industry-leading brands.

What you will do:

  • Leads & Executes Product Marketing Plans for multiple product families. Ability to translate complex technical requirements (including product requirements and financial ROI) into clear, actionable product plans. Obtains plan buy-in from manager & stakeholders. Supports and provides guidance on execution of deliverables, working with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing Communications. Defines and manages product value proposition to support business plans.
  • Serves as Product and Application expert for assigned Product Classes. Responsible for supporting training to both internal and external sales teams on assigned product lines, as well as addressing/resolving daily dealer product line inquiries that come in through Lift Central, internal sales teams, or directly from dealers (CRM Tickets). Responsible for developing and maintaining up-to-date content to support training and sales.
  • Primary author/contributor of marketing functional specification for new product design. Leads voice of customer efforts for multiple product families using tools like Net Promoter Score to benchmark customer and dealer perceptions of our products, and to make recommendations for Improvements. Leads/directs Product Tear-Downs & Product Testing. Develops ideas & content for special marketing programs.
  • Develops and coordinates project and communication briefs across multiple product classes. Works with Marketing Communications team, Product Development & Sales group on the development of all marketing content needed for product brochures, press releases, presentations, videos, campaigns and dealer news announcements; as well as being the trusted product and application expert when needed. Oversees multiple content for consistency of message.
  • Leads or co-leads specific departmental projects and tasks as assigned by Manager, including Voice of the Customer Programs, Competitive Analysis, Competitive Testing and Benchmarking, Sales Enablement Tool development. Develops all plans with sufficient lead time in advance of product launches, announcements, or initiatives, with strong follow-through on execution.

When & Where:

Hybrid office schedule (in-office Tuesday- Thursday, work Monday and Friday remotely) 25-30% travel depending on customer and new product launch support requirements.

Qualifications

What you need to have:

  • Ability to establish and recommend proven Product Marketing strategies to grow revenue.
  • 7+ years in a product management, product marketing, or engineering background with prior experience supporting New Product Launches
  • Creative thinker; ability to understand customer needs & translate into action plans. Excellent ability to convey technical information to customers.
  • Passionate about developing new products and meaningful go-to-market strategies.
  • Prior experience developing market analysis, including market research, situation analysis, and market size/impact.
  • Experience with developing/executing product launch strategies - customer voice, competitive testing, product position and creation of marketing tools.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of driving accountability and delivering on-time projects.
  • Strong collaboration & communication abilities, with proven experience working with Engineering, Execs, and Product Line Management

What would be nice to have:

  • Previous experience in the material handling industry, or related field (industrial product development/marketing)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or other related field.
  • Prior experience with the Asana Project Management tool, or other similar collaboration and project tracking/planning tools
  • Experience in developing digital sales enablement tools and related platforms.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of dealership business model.
