leadership for technical marketing and business development activities, combining market insight with direct

engagement with customers, distributors, and design engineers.

The role develops and executes go-to-market strategies, supports design-win initiatives, and translates

customer and market requirements into product, application, and marketing strategies that accelerate

growth. Working closely with engineering, sales, and operations, the Director identifies emerging market

product-level forecasts. Establish and achieve annual design-win expansion targets, including new qualified

designs, sample-to-production conversion rates, and related forecasted revenue. Own annual new

revenue targets and track performance against quarterly and fiscal year goals.

    • Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new product launches, ensuring alignment with

target markets such as semiconductors, MEMS, optics, and medical device manufacturers. Provide

engineering with all technical details and application notes needed for new product launch and sampling.

    • Build and maintain competitive intelligence on packaging alternatives to sharpen Gel-Pak's value

proposition and differentiate against substitute solutions.

    • Engage directly with sales and their key customer design engineers, procurement teams, and OEM

customers to understand technical packaging requirements and qualify new design-win opportunities.

    • Partner with R&D, Quality, and Operations to prioritize the new product roadmap based on market

demand signals and customer feedback from field engagement.

    • Build financial models and business cases for new product introductions, including pricing strategy, margin

    targets, and break-even timelines.

    • Report new product revenue contribution to overall company growth in quarterly business reviews with

executive leadership on performance plan identifying successes and gaps in performance. Maintain

quarterly fiscal performance updates covering design-win pipeline value, new product revenue

attainment, and market share gains for NPI.

    • Work in partnership with engineering to train Gel Pak's sales team and distributor sales teams on technical

product positioning and application use cases to improve lead qualification and close rates.
