Roles & Responsibilities
- 8+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or product ownership.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in payments or transaction processing systems.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, and enablers.
- Write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Balance priorities across regulatory mandates, tech debt, resiliency, and new feature development.
- Ensure backlog readiness for sprint planning.
- Partner with Scrum Masters and engineering teams to ensure efficient Agile delivery.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Accept or reject completed work based on defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of banking or payments systems (ACH, Wires, RTP, Cards, Cross-Border Payments).
- Knowledge of risk, compliance, and regulatory impacts on payments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and architecture teams.
- Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, microservices, and data flows (functional level).
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, trends, and product performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong decision-making and prioritization capabilities.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
