This role is at the heart of our product development team, focusing on delivering impactful outcomes, solving real user problems, and continuously learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with the entire scrum team delivering software for internal corporate users at Sinclair and is ideal for someone looking to immediately make an impact in guiding product development from concept to launch.
Required Experience & Skills:
Responsibilities:
User Discovery and Requirements Gathering:
Conduct user research to understand their needs and challenges.
Translate user insights into clear and actionable product requirements.
Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders and users.
Refine user stories with business stakeholders on a weekly basis to ensure requirements are clear, complete, and ready for development.
Solution Development:
Collaborate with technical teams to develop feasible product solutions.
Participate in brainstorming and design sessions.
Backlog Management:
Create and prioritize product backlog items, such as user stories and bugs.
Maintain a clear, transparent, and accessible backlog for all stakeholders.
Scrum Team Liaison:
Act as the main interface with the scrum team, guiding them on product backlog items.
Participate in scrum ceremonies and provide necessary clarifications.
Subject Matter Expertise:
Develop in-depth knowledge of your assigned product areas.
Serve as a go-to resource for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Product Artifacts:
Develop and maintain essential product documentation, including Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and clearly communicates product vision and requirements.
Author and maintain release notes for internal products, documenting new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and known issues.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
Organize and conduct UAT sessions, gathering and integrating user feedback.
Other duties as assigned

The base salary compensation range for this role is $88,000 to $110,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
