Title: Product Owner

Remote role

$60/hr

Requirements:

• BS/BA required.
• 2-5 years of experience as a product manager or product owner
• Experience in an agile environment and scrum framework.
• Clear and concise written communication skills with demonstrated ability to summarize large, complex, and conflicting data.
• Strong project management skills including driving alignment, planning resources, managing milestones, and being responsible for overall project success.
• Entrepreneurial minded and driven self-starter with the ability to learn on the job.
• Collaborative and a team player
• Intellectually curious, proactively seeks to learn new things and drive improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a roadmap: capture work from a wide range of inputs, understand and prioritize this work so your team is always working on the most impactful projects;
• Gather a deep understanding of the features and products that you're building through research and regular interaction with stakeholders; define the requirements for the team;
• Perform backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives;
• Coordinate production issues and resolution, including across multiple teams;
• Own and maintain the quality of the product areas your team is responsible for; deliver software in every release.

Preferred:

• Experience in the life insurance of fintech space is a plus
