About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) with deep expertise in Utility Transmission Engineering to lead AI-powered engineering transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned Product Owner, Product Manager, or Engineering Lead who possesses extensive knowledge of Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) design, engineering standards, and utility infrastructure projects.
As the Product Owner, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, architects, and delivery teams, ensuring that AI-enabled engineering solutions align with utility standards, business objectives, and digital transformation goals. You will own the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and delivery strategy while driving the modernization of engineering processes through automation and Artificial Intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategic direction for AI-enabled OHTL engineering solutions.
Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized product backlogs.
Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Overhead Transmission Line engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, product managers, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to deliver high-value digital solutions.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
Validate engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with utility design standards and regulatory requirements.
Drive digital transformation initiatives focused on engineering automation, AI-assisted design, and process optimization.
Manage product risks, dependencies, scope changes, stakeholder expectations, and governance activities.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production rollout, training, and product adoption.
Define KPIs and success metrics to measure business value, engineering efficiency, and product performance.
Facilitate communication between technical and business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure AI-generated engineering outputs maintain accuracy, traceability, compliance, and engineering integrity.

Generate Design Basis Documents (DBDs) using AI.
Automate creation of preliminary engineering design criteria.
Maintain engineering traceability and documentation integrity.
Ensure compliance with utility engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Power Systems Engineering
Civil Engineering
Related Engineering discipline
10+ years of experience in Utility or Energy Engineering.
Extensive experience with Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) engineering.
