Job Title : Product Owner

Duration : 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $50- $54/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to drive AI-driven development initiatives. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure that specifications are clearly defined and effectively implemented.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical understanding of APIs, SDLC, and automation frameworks
- Expertise in specification writing with a focus on creating detailed, unambiguous, and testable requirements
- AI literacy, including understanding of AI tools like GitHub Copilot and prompt engineering basics
- Quality engineering mindset with a focus on edge cases and automation-first thinking
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Prior work experience in the client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in prompt engineering, with understanding of mock-up fields and specification-driven development
- Experience working across ARTs and managing multiple teams
- Knowledge of data and system pipelines
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Define clear, structured specifications for AI-consumable requirements
- Gather business requirements and translate them into detailed specifications
- Enable AI-driven development by shaping requirements for tools like GitHub Copilot
- Align stakeholders across business, engineering, and QE teams
- Drive a test-first approach by ensuring specifications translate into automated test scenarios
- Support standardization efforts by contributing to reusable frameworks and templates
