Responsibilities
- Owns the vision and definition of the product, serving as the voice of the Customer to align deliverables with client needs and business goals.
- Ensures the Scrum Team(s) focus on the highest value items by managing and prioritizing the product backlog, including grooming and maintaining its integrity.
- Communicates the product vision effectively to the development teams to facilitate understanding and aligned efforts toward successful delivery of business objectives.
- Collaborates closely with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure priorities are clear and development efforts are focused on the right features and functionalities.
- Serves as primary point of contact for team inquiries and is empowered to make key product decisions.
- Coordinates with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and adapt the product strategy accordingly.
Requirements- 6-8 years of experience in product ownership, Agile methodologies, or related roles
- Experience with Scrum, software development processes, and user experience (UX) design
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with data visualization and customer solutions
- Knowledge of storyboarding and backlog management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Storybook
- Understanding of WCAG 2.2 ADA Accessibility standards
- Development or engineering experience is helpful but not required
