    Description

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Product Owner - Provider Data & Lifecycle Management for their Remote location.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deep payer-side provider domain fluency. The PO has to understand how provider data actually behaves inside a health plan - how a provider record flows through credentialing, contracting, hierarchies, directory, and claims, and what breaks downstream when the data is wrong.
    • Backlog ownership and prioritization under ambiguity. The core PO craft - turning messy, dataheavy, crossfunctional problems into wellformed epics, features, and stories with real acceptance criteria, and making defensible prioritization calls when everything is "urgent."
    • Crossfunctional stakeholder management. Provider data sits at the intersection of network, operations, credentialing, compliance, and engineering - each with different incentives. The PO has to be the connective tissue: translate between business and technical teams, broker competing priorities, and keep regulatory/compliance partners aligned.
    • We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive our provider data and provider lifecycle management capabilities.
    • This role sits at the center of how a health plan onboards, maintains, and governs provider data across its network - powering everything from accurate directories and claims adjudication to network adequacy and provider payment.
    • You will own the product backlog, translate complex payerside business needs into clear requirements, and partner closely with engineering, data, operations, and network teams to deliver.
    • This role requires provider domain experience from the payer / health insurer side.
    • We are specifically seeking candidates who have managed provider data within a health plan, insurer, or organization serving payers.
    • Experience gained working for provider organizations - hospitals, health systems, or physician groups - does not meet the requirement for this position, as the data structures, workflows, and business drivers differ materially.
    • Candidates should be able to speak to provider data from the perspective of the entity paying for and administering coverage.

    Requirements:

    • Strong Product Management / Product Owner experience is required, including demonstrated experience in one or more of the following payerside domains:
    • Provider Data Management
    • Provider Lifecycle Management
    • Credentialing
    • Network Management
    • Contracts / Agreements
    • Provider Hierarchies
    • You should bring handson experience owning a backlog in an agile environment, strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams, and the ability to decompose ambiguous, dataheavy problems into a clear delivery plan.
    • You should be fluent in how provider data flows through core payer functions and the operational and regulatory consequences of poor data quality.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with provider data platforms or MDM (master data management) solutions; familiarity with provider directory accuracy and network adequacy regulations; experience with credentialing systems and delegated credentialing workflows; exposure to provider contract configuration and fee schedule structures; and prior work modernizing or migrating legacy provider data systems.
    • Certifications such as CSPO or SAFe POPM are a plus.
    • Years of Experience:
    • 7.00 Years of Experience
