The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile product ownership, business analysis, and Jira and a proven ability to translate business needs into actionable user stories and drive delivery with cross-functional Scrum teams.Key Details:Team: Agile Scrum TeamPrimary contacts: Hiring Manager and Scrum Team membersClient interactions: NoStart month: AugustInterview process: 1-2 rounds, in-person or videoSubmission notes: Max 3 submissions per vendor; Glider ID verification requiredResponsibilities:Understand business requirements and the fundamentals of the technical solution. Translate needs between stakeholders and delivery teams.Decompose epics into user stories. Define acceptance criteria, prioritize stories, and lead backlog refinement.Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.Leverage process flows, context diagrams, and use cases to create epics and stories.Apply structural analysis to create workflow diagrams, data flows, business use cases, and data management plans.Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and peer Analysts for alignment.Partner with QA to define test scenarios, validate outcomes, and ensure high-quality delivery across functional and non-functional requirements.Remove impediments and participate in Scrum and Agile Release Train routines.Required Skills & Qualifications:High proficiency in Jira and Agile tools.Experience with Scrum and Kanban in a Scaled Agile environment. Ability to write user and technical stories with acceptance criteria and lead backlog refinement.Proficiency with analysis techniques, including process modeling and data flow analysis.Experience working with Product Managers and System Architects to author epics and decompose into stories.3+ years of Product Owner or Business Analyst experience.Recent Bank of America experience within the last 3 years.Preferred Skills:Understanding of Financial Center transaction processing.Experience with Agile story writing as a functional skill.Why BCforward?At BCforward, we believe in advancing lives and careers.
