A leading manufacturing organization in the paper and packaging industry is seeking a Product Performance Manager to drive quality strategy, process improvement, and customer satisfaction at a high-performing mill operation.

This is a high-visibility leadership role where you will own the Quality Management System (QMS), lead cross-functional performance initiatives, and directly impact product quality, cost, and customer experience.

What You'll Own:

  • Serve as the site's QMS Champion, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and continuous improvement
  • Lead development and execution of quality metrics, KPIs, and performance initiatives
  • Drive root cause analysis and structured problem solving (Six Sigma, etc.) to reduce cost of quality
  • Partner with operations to resolve process and product quality issues
  • Lead all customer-facing quality interactions, including issue resolution and site visits
  • Oversee audits, SOPs, and quality documentation to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Manage and develop a high-performing quality team (engineers, technicians, frontline leaders)
  • Act as the central liaison across operations, customers, and corporate partners

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, with quality ownership
  • Strong experience with:
    • Quality Management Systems (QMS)
    • Six Sigma / structured problem solving
    • Root cause analysis and KPI-driven improvement
  • Knowledge of paper manufacturing and product convertibility strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external customers
