Product Quoter / Estimator II Senior Manufacturing Estimating | Agricultural Equipment Manufacturing

A growing manufacturer of engineered industrial equipment is seeking an experienced Product Quoter / Estimator II to develop accurate quotations and pricing strategies for complex fabricated equipment in the Sioux Falls area. This position works closely with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Sales to support profitable growth through accurate costing and competitive proposals.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced manufacturing estimator who understands engineered-to-order products and the complete manufacturing lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Develop detailed quotations for complex engineered products.
• Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, and RFQs.
• Analyze bills of material, labor requirements, purchased components, and manufacturing processes.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Sales throughout the quotation process.
• Maintain pricing databases, estimating standards, and ERP systems.
• Identify cost drivers and recommend improvements to increase quoting accuracy.
• Support strategic sales initiatives through timely quotations.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive manufacturing estimating and quoting experience.
• Direct agricultural equipment manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience quoting fabricated equipment, conveyors, material handling systems, OEM machinery, or similar industrial products.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and engineered manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and customer specifications.
• ERP/MRP system experience required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to partner effectively with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Sales.
