What You Bring 5-8 years of professional user research experience with demonstrated progression in scope and ownership Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Information Science, Human Factors, Design Research, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Mastery of mixed-methods research design: comfortable moving fluidly across qualitative and quantitative approaches Proven ability to independently lead complex research programs and deliver strategic insights Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams Strong collaborator influence skills - able to make the case for research investment and connect findings to business decisions Experience in research knowledge management and building shared evidence systems Expert synthesis skills: patterns, frameworks, and synthesis outputs that drive action, not just report findings Commitment to ethical research practice and inclusive participant recruiting Nice to Have Experience conducting research within Education, Healthcare, Government, or Manufacturing verticals.
