Summary
Job Title: Product Sales Manager - Operations

About the Role:
This role focuses on optimizing sales strategy, forecasting product release, analytics, and cross-functional alignment to drive efficient revenue growth with minimal field involvement. The role will set the foundation for success by managing product-specific targets, systems, and insights, collaborating closely with product, marketing, finance, and leadership teams.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the R&D team (including engineering and product development) to relay aggregated field insights, customer pain points, competitive gaps, usage feedback, and sales data; influence product roadmap prioritization, feature development, and innovation to better align with market needs and drive future revenue.
Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering/R&D, and Finance to align on roadmap feedback, messaging consistency, launch support, and resource allocation.
Develop and execute the product-specific sales strategy, including go-to-market plans, pricing models, positioning, competitive analysis, and promotional tactics.
Manage product revenue targets. Work with the Senior Sales Manager, reviewing individual/team quotas and improving/analyzing territory assignments.
Own performance reporting using Salesforce and Power BI tools; deliver accurate monthly/quarterly forecasts and dashboards to leadership.
Analyze sales metrics, win/loss data, product adoption rates, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities, risks, and optimization recommendations.
Oversee administrative and operational processes: budgeting for the product line, deal approvals, contract templates, compliance, and sales collateral lifecycle management.
Monitor the competitive landscape and relay actionable insights to refine product positioning and sales approaches company-wide.
Support hiring and onboarding processes for the sales team, including performance tracking systems and process documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably with technical training
Ten years of successful sales experience in an industrial environment
5-7 years of business experience
Product Management experience and success
Strong Metrology background and aptitude
Proven leader, coach and speaker
Team oriented, with the ability to motivate all team players

Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
Pick up, move, and assemble large, heavy, complex pieces of metrology equipment
Remain in a stationary position and regularly use hands for typing and operating standard office equipment.
Movement within an office and the manufacturing floor may be required. Appropriate PPE will be provided when necessary.
Work Environment:
This is a remote position within the United States.
Travel requirement up to 20% percent:
Travel to customer sites, conferences and internal meetings.
Ability to travel by air and drive to customer sites, conferences, and meeting locations as needed.
