Job Summary:This role involves being the first point of contact for external security vulnerability reports. The successful candidate will meticulously assess, validate, and prioritize reported issues. Collaboration with internal development teams will be essential to ensure prompt resolution of security findings.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate incoming vulnerability reports for validity and impact.
- Accurately assign severity ratings and CVSS scores.
- Replicate proof-of-concept exploits to confirm reported vulnerabilities.
- Communicate effectively with external security researchers.
- Facilitate the remediation process by coordinating with engineering teams.
Must-Have Skills:- Proven experience in bug bounty or vulnerability disclosure.
- Strong command of CVSS scoring and application security concepts.
- Proficiency in validating exploits and communicating with researchers.
Industry Experience:Experience in software security and vulnerability management is preferred for this position.
