Location: Tucson, AZ (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $40-$44/hour

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Local Candidates Only (50 Miles Radius)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Product Service Engineer 2 to support cutting-edge mining technology solutions for a global leader in heavy equipment and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with advanced hardware and software systems, supporting customers and dealers around the world while contributing to new product development and continuous product improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
• Provide technical support for mining technology products used by customers and dealers worldwide.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive resolution of product-related issues and enhancements.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and support product validation activities.
• Support Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) initiatives by identifying defects, reporting issues, and recommending improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for technical and operational issues.
• Manage technical escalations and ensure timely resolution in accordance with support service standards.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, dealers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with field support activities and occasional site visits to customer mining operations.
• Contribute to product documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3-4+ years of experience in product support, technical support, service engineering, or a related role.
• Experience troubleshooting software, hardware, networking, or industrial technology systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Experience supporting technology in industrial, manufacturing, mining, heavy equipment, or production environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) processes.
• Knowledge of Linux, Azure, SQL Server, and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience supporting mining technology, heavy equipment, autonomous systems, or industrial automation solutions.
• Field service or customer-facing technical support experience.
• Familiarity with schematics, diagnostics, and system integration.

Additional Information

• Onsite position located in Tucson, Arizona.
• Up to 25% travel, including domestic and occasional international travel.
• Exposure to mining environments, including open-pit and underground operations.
• Standard Monday-Friday schedule with occasional off-hours or weekend support as needed.
