Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a project management or a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing and implementing strategies that leverage AI and AI-powered tools (e.g., Agentic AI) in a support context.
  • Experience launching and supporting consumer hardware, software, or subscription products.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing cross-functional teams, with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Expertise in translating data and user feedback into actionable product improvements and strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to grow in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, leading complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Interest in the Smart Home technology.

As a Product Support Manager (PSMs) within the gUP Home team, you will translate user feedback and support data into actionable insights that shape the future of our Home portfolio.

You will be responsible for defining and executing support strategies for Google Home product areas within Google's gUP performance and development organization. You will work to ensure users receive helpful and trusted experiences.

In this role, you will require an understanding of the user journey, a passion for product quality, and the ability to engage strategically in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. You will drive insights and strategy to execution, from ensuring flawless launches to driving long-term improvements that fulfill our mission to create a home that takes care of the people inside it and the world around it.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000-$130,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in Google Home product portfolio and propagate knowledge. Define, develop and deliver product support strategies and plans for Google Home, focused on creating an ideal user and partner experience.
  • Synthesize user feedback from all channels to identify top issues, product gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Own the product bug hotlist and advocate for resolution.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and UX teams, using data-driven insights to influence product decisions and secure resources for top user-reported issues.
  • Oversee support and operational readiness for new Home product and feature launches, ensuring a seamless user experience. Develop and lead strategic initiatives to reduce user friction and improve product quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and managing expectations effectively.
