Summary: The Residential Product Specialist is responsible for daily customer interactions through email, phone calls, and walk-ins.  The Residential Product Specialist delivers exceptional customer service through the demonstration of Tri City Glass and Door core values.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Greet each customer as they enter the building. Answer phone calls and respond to customer email inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Determine customer needs and create quotes and proposals. Communicate final pricing with customers and collect signed proposals with deposits.
  • Communicate any updates, timelines or issues to customer in a timely manner.
  • Prepare accurate work orders and communicate with glass shop and project managers to ensure proper completion of projects.
  • Maintain showroom floor and displays as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Physical Demands: 
The Residential Product Specialist may be required to assist customers in lifting and carrying products and materials to their car, up to 50 pounds .  The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
 
Work Environment
The work environment is indoors, primarily in an office setting. The Associate may also spend time in the fabrication shop, glass shop or warehouse, as needed.
